In 1985 The Capital Athletic Club opened as the premier health club in Sacramento. From the beginning ownership sought innovative ways to stand apart from the everyday health club. No single club offered the extraordinary services our ownership was looking for. They hunted for all of the best services, amenities and facilities offered throughout the Nation. After years of research and demand for a superior facility they came up with a Club where both physical and mental wellness needs are met.

Our History

The Club’s unique Spanish style architecture fits in well with many of the historical landmarks located within the downtown community. The Club celebrates over 25 years of experience and expertise as the finest club in Sacramento and maintains a reputation as the Club with cutting edge equipment and programs, vast amenities and endless activities.
